Vacuum Pod Transportation System

Vacuum Pod Transportation System VIDEO PRESENTATION POD: Pod is a capsule shaped compartment where passengers can sit and enjoy their ride. The cabin is pressurized for the comfort of the passengers. Magnetic Dampers are installed at both ends of Pod for shock absorption. Seats are automatically rotated according to the pod moving direction. Tunnels are installed few meters above the surface so that topography of land surface doesn’t affect the altitude of the tunnel. High Powered Motors are installed at the stations to generate High Pressure. Motor A generates same amount of air pressure that Motor B sucks. Both ends of the tunnels are sealed with Hatches before the pressure is applied.

Design and Fabrication of Exoskeleton

 Exoskeletons are used in a various field, including medical, the military, and manufacturing. Exoskeletons are made to support and secure their wearers. Exoskeletons can be used to assist soldiers and construction workers, helps in the safety of people in hazardous conditions, help in the rehabilitation of patients, depending on the situation. Solidworks is a software that is used to create designs of exoskeleton. Fabricated Exoskeleton is durable and efficient to lift loads with less effort. This Exoskeleton is powered by two high quality pneumatic cylinders which will act as muscles for the arms.

Inbuilt Scanner in Laptop

 In this project I have designed a camera which can be positioned in a way that we can scan any documents without need of scanner using laptop itself. An adjustable camera is fixed to laptop Lid which helps to scan Documents. The scanned Documents can be extracted in both JPEG and PDF formats. Two Flashlights are installed to both sides of camera for improving quality of scanning.

Analysis of Heat Transfer in Disc Brake.

  In this project I have performed an analysis and simulated the  heat  flow through  brake .     The kinetic and potential energies of a moving vehicle get converted into  thermal  energy  through  friction  in  the  brakes . The  heat  generated between the  brake  pad &  disk had   to  be dissipated  by  passing air  over  them. This  heat transfer  takes place  by conduction , convection and somewhat  by  radiation.

Thermal Spraying Robot

 The robotic arm is used for multiple industrial applications, from welding, material handling, and thermal spraying, to painting and drilling.. In this project I'm using robotic arm (RRR) 3DOF with end effector as metal spraying gun which will heat the metal powder and sprays the molten metal particles on the surface . Thermal spraying is a technology which improves or restores the surface of a solid material. The process can be used to apply coatings to a wide range of materials and components, to provide resistance to: Wear, erosion, cavitation, corrosion, abrasion or heat. Thermal spray coatings are formed by successive impact of a stream of spray droplets in fully molten or partially melted states, followed by flattening, rapid cooling and solidification. 

Measurement of Temperature Using LM35

This project uses LM35, It is a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor, which is connected to Arduino and measures the temperature in Celsius format. LM35 is an analog, linear temperature sensor whose output voltage varies linearly with change in temperature. LM35 is three terminal linear temperature Sensor from National semiconductors. It can measure temperature from-55 °C to +150 °C. The voltage output of the LM35 increases 10mV per degree Celsius rise in temperature. LM35 can be operated from a 5V supply and the stand by current is less than 60uA. The LM35 is a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor, which is connected to Arduino and measures the temperature in Celsius format.
